Ah...but if you only had a MP3 player and your library would be unlimited with total control !
I like xm...but not going to renew it in my car...only in my wife's car. Wife and kid like the variety and ability to see song titles and artists. My cd library is broad enough to where I can burn a mix cd and load up the cd changer.

I agree with you. The XM is really great and I haven't loaded any discs in a while as a result. Are you all getting the regular weekly e-mail from XM that tells you in advance the specials coming up in the following week. It's worthwhile. Here is the e-mail address: listenercare xmradio.com Just have them put you on the list.

This is getting very complicated,
I received a Polk Audio XM Tuner as a gift, accompanied by a pre-paid 1 year subscription. I now understand from XM that I will be charged $6 a month for the in-home tuner, so long as I maintain my RL subscription, whatever that price turns out to be after the free period ends.I have to negotiate this carefully as my RL free subscription ends in December and the in-home will expire in Juine.
Oh, Lord, where is my old crystal set and headphones!!!

Most Hondas/Acuras are known to have such paint problems. The paint itself being very soft. I noticed on my rear bumper something similar to what you're describing. I figured that the car couldn't get too many chips in the center of the rear bumper, so it must be something with the paint. I've been debating whether or not to sand it down and re-finish the rear. As to the front, my car is black and I've decided to go with a bra, since I've noticed several tiny chips. Clear bra/invisi-bra is just too expensive. So other than the paint, I've been very happy with the car thus far.

"Clear bra/invisi-bra is just too expensive"
I never heard of this process before. I'd appreciate it if you'd elaborate a bit.How expensive is expensive? This sounds like a hot application, or the like - an applique, perhaps.I'd love to protect my bumper - the shabbiness created by those eventual chips detracts from the most highly polished, and otherwise "babied," car.

These Invisible/Clear Bras are a paint protection film which is a clear urethane plastic. The film itself is made by the 3M company. There are other manufacturers but I think 3M is the most popular/common. Go to xpel.com for more info. An application kit is available for the RL costing almost $600, not including installation. I would not try to install this by myself. If I was buying the car, I would probably take the plunge. Since I'm leasing, the leather bra will suffice.
