Did anyone has an experience with the Yokohama Avid Touring. I am looking for the replacement all season tires for my S80 2.9.
I had OEM Michelin Pilot, which I liked, except the snow traction and the noise, then I've got Continental ContiTouring (strictly because I could get them cheap), that I did not like at all - lousy dry and wet handling, no snow traction, quiet at the beginning, but getting noisy as the tread goes away.
I will need a new set in 2-3 month. Any suggestions?

Havent tried those, but I've had some Yokohamas in the past that did a nice job. I've also heard good things about the P-Zero Nero, but I havent tried them myself.

What kind of incentives/rebates does S60 have ? I remembered they had several thoursands incentives last year. Does it apply to T6 and/or S60 R ?
Another question: The auto trans will snap torque from the S60R. Is it the same for T6 ? How much will be lost ?
Thanks.

The S60 T5 doesn't put out enough torque to overpower the tranny.
The R goes from 295 ft/lbs to 258 ft/lbs.
Also, 1st and 2nd gears operate in a reduced power mode on the R auto. Full power isn't reached until 3rd gear.
The R has a $4000 lease incentive
The T5 has a $1500 incentive.

I would try the Continetal ContiExtreme Contacts. I have then on my 2002 Saab Viggen and my 2005 Volvo S60R. It has 3 treads - performance, snow & wet. Great tire for a great price.

The S60R and automatic just dont mate well. Volvo needs a new auto-trans for that car. Maybe borrowing a ZF six-speed from cousin Jaguar wouldnt be such a bad idea.

We had good luck with Bridgestone Potenza's on our 2000 S70. Quiet, comfortable, smooth ride.

Where did you find the S60R $4,000 lease incentive? If I found that the decision would be all over.

Volvomax should know, he's a Volvo dealer.

I don't question the incentive I just would like to know where I can find some info on it so when I go to the dealer I can reference it. A lot of times I go to dealers I mention an incentive or rebate and the salesman has no idea what I am talking about.
That is a good incentive because I am looking to lease.
