I own a 2001 MM "P". That has the 2.5L, naturally aspirated V-6.
With 5280 miles on the car, all while using 87 octane (regular unleaded)gasoline, I have averaged 20mpg city--27 to 28mpg highway, and an overall average of 22.2mpg. If they wish to call that poor milage for a 3400 pound four door sedan, they have that right. I do not agree.
