A regular customer is worth upwards of $250,000 in a lifetime, the dealership pays in the long run as long as you spread the word. Gig'em! |

I negotiated online for my Accord. When I showed up for the car it took about 10 minutes to purchase. I signed 2 checks and two forms that were already prepared. They did not ask if I wanted the warrenty or anything - I didn't. They did not even call my bank. Of course this is SD (Vern Eide) where trust goes a long way.

I pre-approved from my bank at a rate that I was happy with and had the check in hand. I did the research on my trade-in and knew the range that I was willing to accept. They came within that range and we were done. Took no more than one hour (including trade) and never a single point of disagreement. I think the real secret is to have the entire scenario worked out. Know the product you are interested in, know the price that you deem to be the one you are willing to pay, know the price you are willing to accept for your trade (if you have one), accept no additional costs other than the car - if you want an extended warranty etc you have It makes it easier for you and easier for the dealership. They may want to get every ounce they can out of a sale but would rather make the sale fast. |

| The prices paid section is probably a better place to take this, but I just got a pre approved blank check from my credit union. I filled out the amount and that was it. | |

I compared the specs of the LX and the EX, and found that EX has the security system and 4 wheel disc brakes, while LX doesn't. Other differences are pretty minor. Could anybody please tell me what this "security system" and "4 wheel disc brakes" are for? I am considering choosing from a 2007 Camry LE and a 2007 Accord, but don't know which trimline of Accord is at about the same level of Camry LE. Would appreciate if you could shed some light on it. Thanks.
