Replying to: rod73 (Oct 03, 2008 7:16 am) i had similar stalling problems with my 99 GM LS. had a new fuel pump at a dealer and stalling continued on and off till i had the car towed in and had the "Idle Air Control Valve"replaced.   Check this out and hope the control valve is the problem. My concern is that 1; no fault codes come up; 2 It usually happens at highway speeds, and 3, It will not restart for about 30 seconds, then starts and runs normally. Replying to: jett3101 (Nov 06, 2008 11:37 pm) Tell more about the car. Miles on it. How it is driven = city or highway, Brand of gas. What components have been replaced in the ignition and exhaust system.   Without knowing more about your car, my wild guess would be to replace the CATS.

My 2004 CV seat belt has almost stopped retracting, as the springs (or whatever draws it back into the body) are worn out after 100K miles...before I call Ford, does anybody have an idea of what replacement cost is???   (BTW, the same thing happened to my Prelude at about 125K, and when I showed the dealer they told me that seatbelts at Honda have a LIFETIME warranty and it was exchanged at no charge...it would be nice if Ford had the same warranty)...
