High End Luxury Cars

You are in the Sedans Forum. Your Hosts are pat & karens
Let's try to define this forum as being limited to luxury performance vehicles where the mainstream version in a typical configuration has an MSRP of at least $60k.
A luxury vehicle with a base price of $59k qualifies because it would typically be bought with some additional equipment, bringing the MSRP over $60k.
Vehicles like the E, 5, A6, M, or GS, even if available in certain versions over $60k, don't qualify because they are cars from companies that have higher end cars in their lineups.

A reporter is looking to talk with consumers who have considered purchasing a luxury car in the past, but would not do so currently because of the economy, or consumers who have traded-in their luxury vehicle. Please send your email address and phone number to ctalati |

I own a 2004 Audi A8L and I am trying to find a way to upgrade the OnStar system in my car. I have called Audi customer service and I have also talked to Chevy Service department and no one knows how I can upgrade my analog system to the newer digital system so that I can get a subscription to OnStar to update my maps in the navigation system and for the hands free phone use. If nothing else I would love to just find something to upgrade the car to do handsfree phone communication with my verizon phone. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would appreciate any info. Thank you. Mike

Of course, it's not going to be integrated with any of your car's other systems. You could go to a reputable audio install shop in your area and have an aftermarket audio/nav system installed that will also have Bluetooth capabilities, but unless you pay big bucks, it's not going to be integrated into any of your cars other systems (climate control, steering wheel buttons, etc.), either. |
