High End Luxury Cars

You are in the Sedans Forum. Your Hosts are pat & karens
Let's try to define this forum as being limited to luxury performance vehicles where the mainstream version in a typical configuration has an MSRP of at least $60k.
A luxury vehicle with a base price of $59k qualifies because it would typically be bought with some additional equipment, bringing the MSRP over $60k.
Vehicles like the E, 5, A6, M, or GS, even if available in certain versions over $60k, don't qualify because they are cars from companies that have higher end cars in their lineups.

We all thought it was all over for Porsche to go liquid-cooled. Well if they hadn't, we wouldn't have been driving Porsche's at all as they couldn't pass emissions. And also, the company has really started to listen to the consumers of the 911's over the very premature tire wear it has, no doubt do mostly to the 60% rear end weight bias. Most 911 tires only last about 15k miles.

What a coincidence? Shortly after BMW officially acquires Britain's John Cooper Works, MB will likely soon be acqiring the British outfit McLaren. McLaren |

MB sells little tin cans like A class as well as S class. Toyota sells little tin cans like Yaris as well as the Century, which is above even the S class and competes with Rolls-Royce, which is the target of Maybach brand in the MB universe. So, there is no need to apologize for sharing platform with Toyota. |
