My research suggests $10-11K trade-in, $11-13 private party retail. Thoughts? Seattle, WA 2004 Infiniti i35 Only owner 4dr, 6 cyl, automatic RWD 51,000 miles Excellent condition in and out Tires 50% worn No accidents |

Am hearing from dealers that it's a "down market" for used-car sales. One even showed me a trade-in value sheet with $1K deducted for "market down." Is this likely the negotiating ploy I believe it to be -- or are used cars not moving? Location: Seattle, WA 'burbs |
