i have a kind of vague value question for you, or maybe not, about a car that might or might not be for sale here in central ct. gen 3 vw jetta(92-98), assumptions are 96-98. guessing at to mileage to be 150k. maintenance up to date. i think it has sunroof and probably auto trans. what i do know: right now it is sitting in a parking space pretty much covered with snow. belongs to neighbor of my mother and was garaged until last year. in the garage is a nissan rogue. never had an accident as far as i know(about last ten years). titanium(somewhat yellow silver color), alloy wheels, always clean. 1 kid as a passenger a few years ago. 30 mile round trip commute to work. i am looking far a fair price for both of us. if there is some other info that would be a big factor, let me know. TIA.

Also what's the difference between wholesale and retail price on this car so I can negotiate better. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me what are the Jan. Northeast auction prices for a 2006 G35x sedan in "above average" condition ? I cannot afford a $ 22,000. certified car from a Infiniti dealer. A used car dealer said he can get me one if I specify exactly what I am looking for. He would call me if he sees one at a local auction . My price would be what he "pays" for the car plus $1,000 for his services and DMV fees. I am looking for one of the many 2006 G35x's that are now coming off 3 year leases. Diamond Graphite, Liquid Platinum, or Black Obsidian are desired colors with 30,000 - 36,000 miles. Must have a moonroof. Thanks in advance ! I prefer a preowned 2006 G35x than a new 2009 Honda Accord LX.

Looked at a used ex rental '08 G8 GT on a Chevy dealer lot locally yesterday and they seemed a bit more interested in my Malibu (very "front of the lot" kind of a car), so probably higher but I didn't have them price it yet. Varies from place to place as always. |

I am looking to sell my 2000 Lexus RX300. Atlanta, GA 2000 Lexus RX300 3.0L V6 Automatic 2WD 113,000 miles Silver exterior/gray interior Memory seats, sunroof, leather, 6-disc changer, roof rack, climate control. Vehicle is in good shape. Minor surface blemishes, nothing inconsistent with the age and looks much better than similar aged vehicles and some newer cars. Non-smoker. Tires are in good condition. Needs nothing mechanically. Autocheck is showing a minor impact a little over a year ago for a bump to the passenger side. No frame damage. What's a fair price?
