Did you also trade in a car that you were upside down on?   Negative equity doesn't go away by itself. You have two choices. 1) Bite the bullet and pay off the loan. 2) Declare bankruptcy.

Replying to: lablover2 (Nov 25, 2008 3:43 pm) Well, then he is either a) paying ALL the money plus,which is unlikey or b) he is overallowing on the trade which is more likely.   The small car market has dried up w/ gas below $2.00/gal   But, if you can get $11k AND the price you want on the N/C, good job you!
