Both at local dealers, haven't seen in person, but assume nice and clean. 2005 V70 2.5T. 25K miles, silver over taupe, normal equipment (nice and loaded). CPO. 2008 V50 2.4i. Black over grey leather, select package so roof, etc. non-CPO. Both in philly metro area. Would says the oracle of Volvos? Especailly interested in a real price on the 2005. I have a pretty good idea from past postings on the V50!

I need to trade in my 2001 Lexus RX300 and I'm wondering what I can expect to get from a dealer. I live on Long Island, NY, a suburb of NYC. The vehicle is an 2001 Lexus RX300 AWD with 88,000 miles. It has all the normal bells and whistles, including factory installed navigation and a 6 disc CD changer. It is in excellent condition with one or two very small dings and clean leather with no rips. Clean title and has never been in a accident or had an insurance claim. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know SUV's have taken a hit in value; anyone with input on trade-in value for a 2007 XC90 V8, 16k miles, pretty much loaded (nav, dvd, climate pkg, conv. pkg.) Denver area, if it helps. Thanks in advance.

I'm looking to buy a 2007 Sonata GLS 4 cyl., auto., silver, sunroof, power drivers seat, 37K miles, new tires, asking price is $11,995, in Oklahoma City. I got the Carfax report, and it's a former rental, with no problems that I could see. Could you tell me the wholesale value on that? TIA.

Hi, I was hoping that someone can help me evaluate trade-in value of my car. I don't think my situation is unique but this is the first time that I am considering to trade in a vehicle that was involved in an accident. Location: Washington DC area 2003/BMW/325i 4dr, auto, 35k miles, black Options: only options were auto, sun-roof The car is in an excellent shape. However about 3 years ago I was involved in collision in/out of shopping center. At the time my insurance nearly determined that my car was considered "totaled". However the "final" estimate determined that it was ~$2,000 below the threshold level of considering it "totaled" so I ended up getting my car repaired instead of receiving a check. At the end of the repair, the final cost was $2,500 higher than what was originally estimated. Needless to say had I known, I would have received an amount that was worth my vehicle. I appreciate any input/response on my vehicle trade in value.

Replying to: mattandi (Oct 11, 2008 6:43 am) That's just about in the middle between the poster who said "car is worth zero" and the "$1000 off" figure. That's about what I figured for a newer car. Usually I see the A/C statement in the old beater cars where $700 is the bulk of the price. Most sellers would fix a busted A/C on a newer model. I don't think I would buy a car newer than 5 y/o if the A/C was busted. Thanks to all of you for the info. |

All, Any help on this one: 2003 Nissan Maxima SE Leather & Sunroof 70k miles tires fairly new floormats are a little dirty, but rest of interior is great. has some paint chips on hood and doors. NADA Avg trade is 7650 + 825 (lthr&sunroof) = 8475. Is that in the ballpark for a trade in? LA/TX market Thanks,
