i realize that perception is reality, which means people are willing to pay more for a lexus than some other brands, but they expensive to maintain, never mind if something goes wrong (then you really pay). i guess it is because they are quieter than a ford.

Oh, it's some blowback damage from someone who broke into a car parked next to it that created small denting and paint chips in front of and above the driver's door handle.

Thanks much for the number - checked three online price guides and they were all over the place on it - ranging from mid-10s (kbb) to 15 (nada) for a trade - an amazing spread really.

A reporter from a national newspaper would like to speak to consumers who have downsized their vehicle in the past year . If you moved from a larger vehicle to a smaller one, please respond to ctalatiedmunds.com with your daytime phone number by Thursday, October 16.

Not true, unless you're foolish enough to go back to your Lexus dealer for post-warranty service.

Having kept both a Ford Taurus & a Lexus ES 300 long after their respective warranties expired, I can assure you that the Ford took a much larger chunk of my income.

based on what i hear from lexus owners, i don't really agree with the letter of your post, but this is not the place to discuss it.

cccompson,

I have heard about Autozone before for a quick read of the trouble code but did not mind much about it. I plan to do that now and hope to see what the problem is.
I also am looking for an auto mechanic to repair my radio lcd problem. Hope this will not cost me much.

Thanks for your advise.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I am thinking twice now about trading in if I do not get a fair value for my car. I would settle for the amount you got for yours though. I will see when I get the chance to deal.

Excellent choice on your van... can't go wrong with the Honda. That will last you a very long time. We were looking at a bigger one too for this 2nd vehicle.. a highlander or a CX 7. Leaning towards the Toy for reliability but will decide after the test drive... heard some good things about the CX. Have a good one.
