Replying to: newgs (Oct 03, 2008 7:11 pm) As for your Lexus, I did not have a problem with the radio display. The last time my check engine light came on, I took it in and it was the air fuel filter or something like that. An expensive fix, in my opinion. It could be something as simple as a loose gas cap, though. I'd take the recommendation of the other poster and take it somewhere where they will read the code for a small cost and then decide what to do. Good luck with your vehicle. Honestly, you can prob get another 100,000 miles out of it. It was just time for us to switch to a minivan so we could downsize from a 3 car household to a 2 car household, and the SUV and my Lexus were the casualties. My car still looked great and drove well (although not as sound proof as when I first got it, it was still better than a new Ford). I'm sure someone will buy it and be very happy with it for another 5-10 years. |

Replying to: volvomax (Oct 06, 2008 3:02 pm) Thanks much for the number - checked three online price guides and they were all over the place on it - ranging from mid-10s (kbb) to 15 (nada) for a trade - an amazing spread really. |
