Lease is coming to an end and trying to decide what to do. What is this thing worth on a trade-in? Myrtle Beach, SC Auto 32k miles Black/Black Avg. condition for age and mileage. Service up to date. Original tires and brakes. Thanks.

another one right up Max's alley! 2004 V70 2.4T turbo. AWD. Dark Blue, tan hides. Seems to be reasonably well loaded (leather, roof, etc). CPO at a dealer in NJ. ~43K on it. New tires. Assuming it is nice and clean as a CPO should be, what would be a good price to offer to steal this one away? Think they are asking 21K on it, which seems high.

Replying to: 4wheels1 (Sep 17, 2008 1:47 pm) A new CE is around $21-22k. A new LE with a mid-level package runs about $24k. That with 2 power sliding doors, cloth, 6CD. One like yours is probably high $20s. $18k is a lot for a 3 year old van with 44k miles. Your B2B warranty is gone. That's too close to the price of a new one, IMHO. To be worth it, it should cost at least 40% or so less than a new one. Compared to a new on that would mean about $16-17k. |

2007 V50. Ex-service loaner. 7,000 miles on it. Dark blue, grey interior. Select and climate packages. Looks nice. non-CPO. asking 25K (or 26?). Seems awful high to me, so before I go in again, what should be realistic?

Will do later from home. I don't have an aversion to AWD, I just don't really need it, and it does eat up a few more MPG. But, that is otherwise a car I like (color too), and the sales guy really wanted me to look at it, so I figure, what the heck. I won't, however, get any wannabe trucks like an XC70 or Outback. |
