Replying to: corvette (Jun 22, 2008 3:46 pm) Sounds like a pretty smart move on that dealer's part.   I certainly haven't heard anything about V6's taking a hit. All the hoopla is about big V8's, especially SUV's and trucks. Good question though. I'm curious what the dealers are seeing.

Nestled between the containers would be dozens of lightly used suburbans and other large suv's. I wondered why they didn't just get new ones. Now I know. Thanks.

Located in Jackson, Michigan 2003 Chevrolet Venture LT LWB 3.4l V6/4sp auto AWD 73K miles Black with tan interior Leather, dual power seats, dual A/C, single power sliding door, NO DVD player "Kid shuttle" interior condition, assorted minor carpet stains, no rips/tears Couple minor dings and scratches Needs tires 1 minor accident-no body damage, but rear bumper and tailgate were repainted   What do you think? Replying to: corvette (Jun 22, 2008 3:46 pm) It really depends on the engine. An Accord V6,esp an older one isn't likely to suffer a fuel related drop in value. I could see some of the bigger 6 cyl, 3.5 to 4.0L, dropping in value though.   I think price is more of an issue. Less expensive cars w/ small engines are doing better on used car lots that more expensive cars w/ small engines. We can't keep older S40's and S60's in stock and the auction prices for those cars are ridiculous right now.

Volvomax...I appreciate your service.   St. Louis, MO 2006 Buick LaCrosse CXS 3.6 L 240 HP 60,500 (all highway...dosen't everyone say that?) Silver Power Sunroof Interior is in great shape...no children...non smoker..no pets Exterior has a few scratches and one minor door ding brakes 50% Tires 90%..80,000 mile tires Maintenance up to date...can provide records Never been in a accident..no insurance claims repaints etc A great car   May want to take advantage of the 0% 72 months for a new Lucerne.   Thank you again in advance.
