Houston Area 54k miles Silver 2004 GTP 3.8 Supercharged Sunroof, single CD about 50% tread. Good condition, no door dings, 2 scratches on rear bumper cover Due for brake pads Looking for trade-in value/ private party value The GTPs seemed to be bringing about 1k over GTs..wonder if that is no longer the case due to requiring premium. Thanks!

I was expecting $33,000. or $34,000 in trade, and instead of paying, I actually got $ back. The Infiniti dealer is also a Porsche dealer, so I know that I got a good deal. Hey, I guess that the dealer was a "friggin idiot"!!! Currently, regular Cayennes are bringing $30-31k at auction. Hope the dealer sold that car quick. Chances are, the dealer showed you that $37 and used whatever incentive they had to do it. |

A quick story. I had my LX in for an oil change a few days ago and while waiting I looked over their current inventory. They happened to have a 2008 LX 570 on their used car lot with 5,000 miles. The story was that the guy did not like the color, white, and traded it on a different one. Thinking I might be able to get a good deal I asked the price. The salesman said that it sold new for $80,000. and that the asking price now was $85,000. I asked him if he was kidding. He said he was serious, that they were in short supply and they felt justified in asking a premium price. I wished him luck. It is still on their internet site listed at $85,000. Does this make sense? |

Replying to: volvomax (Jun 19, 2008 2:17 pm) He seems to think that if I hold off until October that my truck will still be holding at around the same trade value and that there will likely be cash AND finance offers on the Armada at that time rather than either/or as it is now. With that in mind plust the extra few grand I will have paid down my Pathfinder I should be able to save quite a bit by holding out just a few months. I guess I'll be back again around that time. Thanks again for all the comments, both posotive and negative. Great forum you all have here and a wonderful resource for buyers. Cheers.
