I felt like a got a good deal on the truck back in November paying invoice, but now I feel like I'm screwed You know what? Back in Nov you may very well have gotten a good deal. However, 2 things now conspire against you. 1 the usual bath you take trading a new car in so soon after purchase 2 the fact that SUV values are plummeting. I don't think we have seen this kind of drop in values since the last gas crunch in the 70's.

I got real lucky in March and got $37,000. for a 2006 Cayenne traded on an Infiniti G35x, which I paid invoice for. I was expecting $33,000. or $34,000 in trade, and instead of paying, I actually got $ back. The Infiniti dealer is also a Porsche dealer, so I know that I got a good deal. Hey, I guess that the dealer was a "friggin idiot"!!! |
