I live in South Carolina, in the Upstate and notice not a lot of them are willing to even come close to Edmunds TV. Can anyone recommend a WV dealer within any of these states who is fair and willing to deal? And should I just send mails or axes asking for the dealers best deal? So far I've been to Vi Barley in Spartanburg and a WV dealer in Greenville, SC and few seem willing to fudge from the MSRP. I'm interested in the GSL V6 with the Luxury and Leather package. Any advice would be appreciated. |

| I am looking at the 2001.5, not the 2001's. What a difference in styling!!! Love the 'freshening' on the 2001.5 Passat . . . . Be still my wallet . . . | |

Actually, I do like the cars. Would you rather I posted the whole fleet on here? Bill The car dealer, who apparently sacrifices virgins at the altar, steals candy from babies, rigs ballot boxes, changes the weather, causes swarms of locusts to appear, causes droughts, is responsible for the other plauges of Egypt, most wars, and trains people to drive in the left lane holding up traffic and aggravating everyone. |

| Used to live in upstate SC but don't have experience with any of the VW dealers. You might try Atlanta. Jim Ellis is a pretty big dealership. Again, I don't have any experience with them- but they might be flexible with your price! Good luck! | |
| We purchased from Rusty Wallace a 2001.5 GLX auto with an in-dash CD and tinted window for 7% off MSRP. But I heard they are selling the 2001 for $1,750 off INVOICE. I wish I didn't have to have the latest version. But, I'll tell you it is one beautiful car. I traded a 1998 colorado red GLS with leather and luxury package for my reflex silver/gray leather.... NO comparison!!! I advise to pay the extra and get the 2001.5...the front end is beautiful. | |

I have been looking for a passat for quite some time now. I have searched all over the south east region of the U.S. The best selection I have found for not only my new passat but also every other model of WV was at Schumacher VW in West Palm Beach,Fl on okeechobee blvd. They have a huge selection of the new face lift passats. Their prices are better than just about everyone. If you live in the south east area, I highly sudgest that you contact Brandon Carson At Schumacher VW |

| I'm thinking of buying the WV 2001.5 GLX automatic with leather. To get the best deal, price will go down when 2002 comes out surely. Approx how much lower does the price go? When does 2002 come out? | |
| Have not purchased anything yet. Still looking for a deal. I decided to look for a GLS v6 w/leather and luxury and skip the 4Mo. I have visited DCH and didn't like their pricing. I have yet to visit a dealership in Summit. Thanks for the info. | |
| Does the $1000 off or 4.9% financing apply to the 2001.5's and is this a nationwide promotion or is this given by select dealers. | |
|
Special Volkswagen Credit subvented rates apply only to 5 Speed Cars...Jetta, Beetle, Passat, etc. and 2001 MY cars. The $1000 Incentive money applies only to 2001 Passats; not 2001.5, and with the Passat the dealer can only provide you with one or the other...You can get the Rate or the Discount, but not both... |
