I ordered a 3.6L wagon yesterday. Invoice pricing just came out. Mine(Pack 1 Lux plus audio)invoiced at $1,051 more than the sedan equipped the same way (32,977 vs. 31,926). This is about what people expected. I paid $1,000 over invoice. A competing dealer absolutely refused to budge off MSRP. The dealers think they are going to sell well. The dealer that sold me mine said I was the 8th one he had ordered for people. Nearly all of them were 6's.

Replying to: countdbc (Jan 09, 2006 6:19 pm) I am trying to buy the same Passat as you did, but could not find a good deal in Southwest FL. Thanks.

I remember somebody got the same car with OTD about $22770, but I negotiated with several dealers, and found it was hard to lower the OTD down to $24500. the best out the door price is $24600 (In south west FL, Tax rate is 6%). Is that a good deal or not? If not bad, I am going to buy it soon. Please give some commends. Thanks |
