So this question has been posted, but not since ~May, so I thought I'd ask for an update. Am looking at a 2005 1.8T Automatic Passat Front wheel drive with leatherette+cold weather package (no wood trim). Two dealers each had posted $27-28,000. I told them I was just looking, but would be interested if they could come around $20-22,000. Both seemed inclined to do so ("I don't think I can do 20, but maby $22-23" & "$22 isn't impossible"), though I didn't talk further details. Would I be reasonable to asking for $20,000? Or even less? I would probably finance the car myself. Also, they each claimed these were there last 2 2005's. Is that believable? Will they vanish in a month? Thanks...
