$23,000 Sounds a bit high for a '05 GLS Automatic. I paid $21,900 for a '04 Auto.

There aren't any incentives on the 05's yet.

Finalizing my order on a 2005 Passat TDI GLS Wagon. Does anyone have any opinion on the improved ride or looks that the 17 inch wheels give? Full-boat on options and will get it for 1/2-way between invoice and sticker...

I found a 04 auto for $20.400, but, I preferred the 2005. The price was $25.450. The manager told me there was no incentive on the 2005.

Can you tell what the difference is between '04 & '05 GLS?? The best price I gotten so far on a '04 GLS AWD automatic was $24K. Am I being ripped off??

The dealer here in New Orleans quoted me $25,000 for a fully loaded 2004 GLX Passat (V6). I think you're supposed to subtract 3500 from invoice for a 4motion car and 2000 for a front wheel drive car.

After so many months of deciding to buy a new car, I finally took the plunge and I picked up my new 2004 GLS Automatic 1.8T VW Passat on Sept. 03, 2004. It has grey leather interior/wood package and I paid $24,514; color Shadow Blue with only 12 miles on it. The dealer is located in Bayside, NY. If you are on the market for this car and you live in the NY area, give them a call. They are wonderful and did not give me any hassles (like others that I personally visited).

I love my car and all I can say it is very comfortable, elegant looking and I enjoy driving it (especially with that Monsoon sound radio).

I absolutely love it!

sounds like a good deal. What is delivery fee? Is that the same as the destination fee?
