0% Financing by lewshel

We bought a Passat GLX 4Motion using the 0% financing for 36 mos to finance 18,000 of the purchase price. We figured that our own money in savings was generating much more. We got $1,000 in VW loyalty and $500 in dealer cash. The price was $29,000 before taxes and included a set of VW roof bars and a set of Monster mats.

I am from Indiana and would like to know where and what is a great price to purchase a V6 4-Motion or W8 Passat. I went Dreyer and Reinbold in Greenwood and had the most upsetting car-buying experience of my life. Stay clear of this group. Thanks.

Go to Tom Wood VW in Carmel or Speedway VW. I had good experiences at both these dealers.
Check Edmunds new car prices to see what a current good deal would be.

Thanks for the reply..Tom Wood is the next closest to my location next to going to Ohio. Many people in this forum are getting their Passats for $1500 to $2000 under invoice. Hope I can get a deal like that.

Diesel vs. Gasoline by houstonken

Has anyone recently priced the difference is gasoline Passats vs. diesel passats. I'm thinking about both the sedan and wagon.

IN Houston the dealerships are advertising gasoline Passat GLs for $19,995. In just some preliminary calls to dealers, they are claiming to get sticker or damn close to sticker on the diesels $24,000 plus.

Cold weather package $325
ESP $280
Emission: $150
Leatherette $0

---------------------------------------
Listing price: $25,785

Paid: $22000 + $1100 (tax) + $299 (doc fee)+ $29 (inspection) + $86 (Reg fee) = $23514
