| Got a great car in the GLX 4motion but must sell it due to issues not involving problems w/ the car. Got 100k mi extended warranty & only 250 mi. and great blue-silver color/black leather. Kills me to sell since I've wanted one for so long. | |
| $24,200 with the only option being the cold weather package (handy for Syracuse NY). I'm on the fence...any opinions on this price and the resale value of this configuration? | |

Just got a Black w/Beige interior '04 Passat Sedan GLS 1.8T(M) w/ESP and Leather/Wood interior(includes cold weather pkg., especially useful here in FL) for $22,375. Price didn't include tax, tag or dealer fee ($299). Dealer letting it go for well below invoice because of Manufacturer to dealer marketing incentive of $2,000 (Thanks for telling me Edmunds, you saved me some $'s). This was my first VW so didn't qualify for $500 loyalty incentive. They also got me 60 months financing |

| I got a similar deal: '04 Passat GLS 1.8T Manual, Silverstone Grey, cloth, ESP, Cold Weather Package for $21,052. I believe the marketing incentives last through April 5. I didn't take their financing since I got a really good deal through my local credit union: 3.95%. | |
| I'm looking to lease a new Passat in the next couple weeks. With interest rates down and VW Credit offering 1.9% for five year financing I'm wondering what king of lease payment I can expect. Is anyone willing to share a recent experience? I'd like to see what price you settled on, residual and money factor if you know it, and monthly payment. Thanks!! | |
| I am getting mixed signals on Certified pre owned. While one VW dealer told me it runs concurrently with the new 40,000/4 year new car warranty, the other guy told me that the certified pre owned warranty, 24000/2 year kicks in after the new car warranty expires. Which one should I believe? | |

| I've been quoted a price of $25,656 for an 04 Passat: GLS 1.8 Auto 4Motion with Leather/Wood and ESP, not financed. It seems like a fair deal, and they aren't making a huge amount of profit on my trade. Any thoughts? | |
| BTW: The new car warranty is 4yrs/ 50K miles. | |

A local VW dealer has a 2003 Passat W8 with sport package and manual transmission. Window sticker is a shade over 39k and it has been discounted to $32,600. Brand new car, never titled. Anyone have a good idea of the true market value of this car? Trying to decide between and among the W8, a new Sabb 9-3 Aero (window sticker of 37k can get it for about 32-33), and maybe the Volvo S60R or the new S40 T-5. Never had a VW (although my son has a Jetta that is a piece of junk combined with a bad dealer), Saab or Volvo so brand loyalty is not important at this time. Have had 4 Audis but will not go back there because the local dealer does not get high marks for being service-friendly and he is the only Audi dealer for a 50 mile radius. Thanks for any help and advice. |
