Question #1: I found a new 01.5 Passat GLX with 4Motion that has 5,000 dealer miles on it. The dealer is willing to sell it for $27,625...sounds like a good deal to me, but what do you guys think? That's probably a couple grand less than an '02, but it has 5,000 miles, no CD, and a shorter bumper to bumper warranty (although it has a longer warranty on the powertrain). Question #2: How does this car compare to the 02 Audi A4 1.8T? It's got fewer options, and a smaller engine but has anyone driven both? |

| I bought 02 glx 4Mo, 30K exactly. no cd, 32 miles. 01 should be 27.5K with no miles, would not pay that for 5k miles. just my 2 cents. | |
| DaBronx -- Is the car you bought a manual transmission? What should I expect in pricing on a 1.8T manual? TMV is about $850 over invoice. Is that about right? | |
| Is in dash CD standard on the new Passat? I notice people seem to be saying CD is included as an option. | |

Are the 2002 Passat GLS 4Motion's available? My dealer said very few have been made so they are almost impossible to find and that ordering one would take 4-5 months. Any truth to this or is he just trying to get me to buy a GLX? Thanks! |

A new AM/FM/CASS/CD is Standard on all German built VWs that were produced after week 32 of this year...(August 12, 2001) The information on the 4MO issue is half right... They are very rare, but I can assure you that they can be ordered...And the order time is no where near 4-5 Months...Typical build times for a specific car are 75-90 days, and that is to Calif. where there is a 28 day trip across the pond and around the bend... |

| Can you provide some info on what VW credit did on money factors as of 11/1. Specifically, I am looking to lease a 02 GLX and am curious what this month's mf will be. thanks. | |

Basically everything is the same...Retail APRs have come a few basis points, and 2002 Eurovans have been added to the subvented list... If you want specifics on Residual & Factors, please give me a call...PS |

| That's good news. The lease money factor on the Passat is pretty good. May be good enough to get me to finally put to an end two months worth of tire kicking. | |

| Can you give me details on the eurovan deal - my dream rig | |
