Hi Carman - I'm interested in a Passat Wagon, mainly a GL or GLS TDI, but am also looking at the non-diesel GL or GLS. Are there incentives for those models? Would a leftover new 2004 qualify for the incentives? My current dealer is selling a 2004 at invoice +$1, which may not be a deal. What do you think? Thanks in advance - this is such a great service you provide! Kathy |

Hi tamu2002. Nissan's customer cash on the 2005 Quest has been at $2,000 since it significantly enhanced its support on it in March. It is difficult to say whether Nissan's customer cash on this car will increase in June. I am sure that Nissan dealers themselves don't even know what will happen with this van's incentives next month yet. If I had to make an educated guess, I personally would say that it will probably remain at two grand next month, but again there is no guarantee that this will be the case. Hello Ray. I am fairly in tune with GM's incentives and I have never heard about any sort of additional cash that is available on vehicles that are sold quickly. On the contrary, GM actually has additional bonus cash on vehicles that have been on dealer lots for a long time (since January 1st or earlier) to help dealers unload their leftover vehicles. Greetings ajk. General Motors is not providing any dealer incentives that I am aware of on the 2005 GMC Yukon XL. The only offer that I am aware of on this truck, other than the $4,000 that you mentioned in your post, is an additional $1,000 bonus cash on '05 Yukon XLs that have ben on dealer lots since January 1st or earlier. Hey Kathy. On non-diesel Passats, Volkswagen is currently offering 1.9% financing for up to 4 years and 2.9% for 5 years and on diesel Passats is it offering 2.9% for up to 4 years and 3.9% for 5 years. Given the fact that VW is currently providing $2,000 dealer cash on the 2005 Passat Wagon GL and GLS non-diesel and $500 on equivalent diesel models, you should be able to get a very good deal on one. In my opinion, dealer invoice is too much to pay for a leftover 2004 Passat when you could purchase a 2005 model for around the same price. Car_man Host Smart Shopper Forum |

I've been quoted 3500 worth of rebates and incentives. My lease doesn't run out till June 23. Wondering if I should sit tight until next month in hopes of even more money or just make the deal now. Any thoughts |
