Replying to: Car_man (May 09, 2005 3:23 am) thanks car_man    I was able to secure outside financing to take the additional 1k rebate. then GMAC didnt want to lose the business so they financed it at the 5.9% lower rate for the full amount. which saved me $16 a month    Just goes to show everyone that obtaining pre-approval or other financing options puts the consumer in the drivers seat .. pun intented

I believe Volvo was offering $6,500.00 if you lease the car outside of Volvo Finance. If the still have that incentive ( I purchased 04/30/05) you should be able to do better than $547.90. Good Luck.

Alright, moment of truth. Advised that I have to order my car this week if I want a 2005. Pretty dead on what I want to offer, but just like to know what is out there on this car. I am ordering the Turbo Lite, with all GT features, but on the limited.   Thanks in advance.

Hey purplebug. Right now DaimlerChrysler is providing 0% financing for up to 3 years, 3.9% for 4 years, or 4.9% for 5 years plus a $1,000 bonus for financing through Chrysler Financial or just $1,000 customer cash on 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Sedan models.   Car_man Host Smart Shopper Forum

But I am getting $48 more per month. I know the V70R will be a little more but not $48/month! Would like to know who you are getting your deal from.   Thanks!

I'm trying to decide on a hauler for me, the 2 dogs, and an occasional kayak or bunch of garden stuff. Have lots of GM credits but the Maxx doesn't have enough headroom for the big dog or a roof rack! What rebates, dealer incentives and/or spiffs are being offered on the Focus wagon and the CRV? It's not easy finding a base CRV (LX) but that is what I would be interested in. I have put off buying with the hopes that the deals would improve.   THANKS!
