I have a 2003 2.7T Allroad. I bought a K&N replacement air filter but have not installed it because the top of the air box has all sorts of wires and components on top of it. Does anyone know where I can find install instructions online? Is there a noticeable performance increase? Does it void the Audi warranty? Thanks.

I am the proud owner of a recently purchased 2001 allroad w/ 85K. I really enjoy it. I had the vehicle checked out by an Audi shop and they found and fixed small issues. However, I have never owned a turbo/biturbo and need help with acceleration issues. In 2nd gear, starting at about 2800 rpms (with a steady 1/4 throttle) I hit a flat spot in the torque curve, then it resumes normal acceleration. Lasts only 1/4 second but is becoming more frequent and noticable. Happens in each gear at lower and lower rpms (more engine load). Doesn't seem to be noticable at 3/4 to full acceleration (maybe passing thru same circumstances but too quick to notice?).   Are the turbos sequential? Is this a waste gate issue, or is this normal for this vehicle? Anybody else out there experience this? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I have a 2004 with built in latch anchors, you should be able to get Audi to have them retrofit free of charge? check with your dealer, they added them to the 2002 A4 avant we used to drive without any cost to us.
