This will give you a history of how many times it has been registered among other things. But you'll see the sale history, how many times it has changed hands. If it has been owned by more than 2 owners, I would pass on it.   Also, if they haven't been honest about it, i'm sure you'll get some resistance in providing it (carfax).

I'm at 84K (bought Audi Assured) & once I hit 100k will be off warranty. I would like advice on 3 areas I would like to improve: low end torque, suspension & exhaust sytem. The car is NOT Turbo so ameniable to chipping but I would appreciate input on what, when, how & why. The suspension is not a sports suspension & I would like to tighten it up considerably. I'm anticiapting w/chipping the exhaust system will need changing but don't know alot about this & would appreciate recs. It is a 5 speed & I love the body & cabin styling. This is a car I would like to keep for years. Thanks in advnce for info incl. websites. Merry Christmas !
