oldgtiguy:
Let me guess, you must be an English major. Thank you for your uplifting thoughts on Ford and our club.
The CSG has been in existence for well over 3 years on the Edmunds.com web site. We are one of the most active groups in the Town Hall. I know our name sounds a little crazy, but if you actually took the time to read through our early topics from 1998, you would understand the name and the purpose of the group. Never judge a book by its cover.
Please understand, we don't expect everyone to love the Cougar as we do, and we are open to criticism from non-CSG members, but we will not tolerate ignorant remarks such as the one you posted at random. If you would like to post an educated opinion supported by personal experience, please feel free to do so. If you have nothing to post that fits in to this criteria, please go on your way and post nothing.
The CSG has a wonderful relationship with the Edmunds staff, and if this nonsense continues to disrupt our group, we will report it to them and they will handle the matter from there.
Sincerely,
Rob Kibler AKA "Badulah",
CSG Public Relations & General Management

And with a screen name like "oldgtiguy" I guess you would think that. Find your bi-focals and locate the topic you really wanted to post in. We're a peaceful group in here and don't really need your negative comments.
Thank you, drive through ...

There was some very nice information on posting photos for the old system here on Edmunds.com Town Hall. What happened to that in the transition?
Karen, are we going to still be able to post images on this new system?

Sorry it's taken so long for me to reply! Yes, you can post photos. It's still the same as the old place. You cannot upload photos directly from your computer into a post within a discussion. Your photo must reside elsewhere. Some have used www.photopoint.com to load their photos into a private folder and then post them within a message.
Here's how:
To get this:
Use this coding, but replace the ( and ) with < and >:
(img src="http://a332.g.akamai.net/7/332/936/0001/www.edmunds.com/pictures/30469.jpg")
Or: (img src="Photo URL address")
To make your photo a link,
do this:
(a href="Page URL address")(img src="Photo URL address")(/a)
Remember, posting copyrighted photos is a no-no. Unless, of course, you own the copyright.
Hope this helps!

I took some great shots of my Cat buried in the snow this past Saturday. I'll post them in here once I get them developed.
To those of you without access to web space, please feel free to send us your pics and StageLeft will post them on the web so you can post them on this site. Between my AT&T free space and the CSG server, we have more than enough space.
