Replying to: ateixeira (Mar 03, 2009 8:45 am) 1) Make sure you are at maximum weight 2) Low and flat-- small frontal area 3) Graphite for the wheels/axles 4) Make sure wheels are aligned. Most Boy Scout stores even sell a little alignment kit. If you push it on the floor and it doesn't track exactly straight, you'll have drag on the track. Once it's aligned, do not touch or put pressure on the wheels, until you are ready to race.. We had fun making our car... but, that's about it..

Replying to: ateixeira (Mar 03, 2009 10:38 am) Then remove Mario's head, fill it with lead, get a good alignment with 0 degrees of toe, 0 degrees of caster, lube those axles. Maybe drill out the wheels to make them lighter for quicker acceleration. You can then put more weight in Mario's head. . . Oh, forget it. Just have fun! Good luck Juice tom
