Replying to: lilbluewgn02 (Mar 02, 2009 10:58 am) My daughter was jealous and wanted to build a green car for Yoshi. Maybe I'll buy a few more kits, including one for me. I even have the Subaru stickers.

Replying to: lilbluewgn02 (Mar 02, 2009 10:58 am) I still remember one of the fastest pinewood derby cars I raced against- they were ugly! Totally flat except the back where all the extra weight was mounted as high as possible. Those ugly cars smoked everyone. Funny the things we remember. . . tom |

Replying to: volkov (Mar 02, 2009 5:00 pm) The hole where Mario sits is strategically sized - a quarter fits in there perfectly. To race you can go up to 5 ounces, so we'll insert quarters until it's up to the limit, then race it. I put the weight in the center, but I guess high and far back would have been better? Oh well.
