I expected that, because with VIP pricing they don't really make any profit on the new car sale, so instead they sell the trade-in at a healthy profit. I'm sure I can get a whole lot more for it. It's still under the Subaru Gold warranty for another year and 39k miles. A lot of folks here at work have kids that go to college in Canada so this car is perfect for someone like that. I'm sure it will sell easily. The Forester sold in just a couple of days to the first person that test drove it. Credit for PZEV? In MD? I don't think so, but if anyone is aware of this, please share. Yes, indeed, The Fence got a short 2nd life when we decided to go with the minivan, but it got mightly slippery as soon as I saw the 09 Forester. Replying to: steve_ (May 09, 2008 11:23 am) I just put that in the shop for a new timing belt, water pump, the works. I invested close a grand on it, so looks like I'm gonna keep it a bit longer. I would have done it myself but I'm just too busy at work nowadays. Plus I'll have a receipt for the timing belt, every buyer wants that.
