In the case of my router that has its own firewall, I would not be able to use IM if it is set at Medium or High security without further customization. -Dave.

Replying to: rob_m (Apr 18, 2008 8:13 am) Friday morning, Mike had his audition, placement exam in Calculus, and a music theory exam. We got the audition results Wednesday and he passed, so he is now officially accepted into the SRT program. He had to play his prepared pieces (Ave Maria, a jazz version of Easter Parade, and chords and scales of various sorts. Then, the professor threw him a curve...play part of Easter Parade at a different signature and beat...he was nervous that he might have fumbled thru that, but all turned out well. The weather was very good most of the weekend,60s on Friday, We ended up eating at the cafeteria a couple of times...the food was really good. When Michael had a piece of their chocolate cake, he said "this is were I'm going!". We did some shopping in Nashua; I got myself some tie-dye Converse All-Stars low tops...really cool. Then on Saturday, we had time to go to the Kennedy Library...we all really enjoyed that. By the time we got home to Florida, it was 2:30 AM Sunday morning.Still a bit tired, plus I picked up a bug on the plane. We will be back up before school starts in September; it looks like this is his #1 choice. He has orientation in June. Hopefully, we will be able to get together |
