Replying to: paisan (Oct 21, 2004 12:10 pm) I've also been watching "Desparate Housewives". I was weary of watching the pilot due to the title, but Kana got me hooked. It's a zany and witty comedy. I read that several companies stopped advertising during the show because it was too "racy". Perhaps Subaru could buy a spot at a discount? Ken

Doubled the advertising price from $150K to $300k per 30 seconds IIRC. I have the Tivo record that, The Wire and Law and Order since I'm at work during the shows. -mike

Loved the line about being known as the Mom of the boys who painted the little girl blue!! I think its also fun that i can relate a number of the characters to real neighbors, although no one has been digging up their pools.. (at least that i know of...) O

There is tons of near-nudity, I mean lingerie and obscured shots. Imagine if it were on HBO! -juice
