Nah, then people would be calling the FCC and complaining that cars were moving in a suggestive manner and flashing their headlights. CBS would maintain that they didn't know anything about it and would still get fined $500k per affiliate. -Dennis |

Yeah and Subaru could not call it a malfunction, they're too known for being reliable. -juice |

I gave virtual cash and a virtual card. I thoroughly enjoyed the virtual open bar! |

Anybody have a hangover this morning? I couldn't get to the virtual bar, kept coming up as an empty node. Rob must have sucked it all into his machine. DaveM |

(being Mr. Mom last night), but I left the virtual gift at home in my rush! Oh, well.... What I did catch in the last 15 minutes was fun. Have a good weekend, everyone! Steve |

Replying to: paisan (Oct 21, 2004 12:10 pm) I read that several companies stopped advertising during the show because it was too "racy". Perhaps Subaru could buy a spot at a discount? Ken |

Doubled the advertising price from $150K to $300k per 30 seconds IIRC. I have the Tivo record that, The Wire and Law and Order since I'm at work during the shows. -mike |

It's over-acted and not very believable but funny nonetheless. Everyone's talking about it at the water cooler, though. After watching it for the first time, that ad would indeed be understood by Desperate's viewers. -juice
