Great chat, I got there early and was the 4th person, thought it would be slow. No way! It picked up fast, we almost had the list of names scrolling. Nah, then people would be calling the FCC and complaining that cars were moving in a suggestive manner and flashing their headlights. :rolleyes: CBS would maintain that they didn't know anything about it and would still get fined $500k per affiliate. -Dennis

Replying to: paisan (Oct 21, 2004 12:10 pm) I've also been watching "Desparate Housewives". I was weary of watching the pilot due to the title, but Kana got me hooked. It's a zany and witty comedy. I read that several companies stopped advertising during the show because it was too "racy". Perhaps Subaru could buy a spot at a discount? Ken

Doubled the advertising price from $150K to $300k per 30 seconds IIRC. I have the Tivo record that, The Wire and Law and Order since I'm at work during the shows. -mike
