Love my Cat!! Had her for over 2 years and she is still running strong!!   When you get a chance, check out the CSG's home page at: Cougar Support Group    Also, be sure to try and attend one of our chat sessions. They take place right here in Edmunds on Tuesday nights from 7-8pm est!!

Sorry I've been MIA, but work has been hellish. Some folks on this earth are simply here wasting valuable oxygen that belongs to the rest of us!   Wishing I could go to Lime Rock but there's just no way I can swing the $$$ and my fella can't make it either and help share the expense & driving.   But he did great at the racing school course where he was teaching. Lapped the entire field in the rain in his 4-door sedan, beating Porsches and Corvettes and BMWs in his Audi. Laughing all the way across the finish line, so proud it's a wonder his head could fit in the car at all!   My car is still doing great. Finally had time to give her a good hand-washing....and of course now rain is predicted for tomorrow night. *sigh* I guess all good things must come to an end.

Coolchick: It's GREAT to hear from you. I'm glad to hear you, your fella, and your Cat are all doing well. Sorry to hear you will not be able to make Lime Rock. You will be missed.   Be sure to stop in on occasion and check in with us. Or even better, join us in one of our weekly chat sessions.   Once again, it was good to hear from you!!

badulah - I have put a sticky on the computer that says CHAT so I'll remember to join in! Will try to be more of a presence.   Still trying to determine if that light at the end of the tunnel is a locomotive or not :-/

Currently the CSG is sponsoring a Cougar rally in Lakeville, Connecticut at Lime Rock Park Raceway from Friday May 25th to Monday May 28th. The purpose of this meeting is to get together and rally for the Cougar race team, Capaldi Racing.   Capaldi Racing is a member of the SCCA which will be hosting two races during this weekend. Friday will be the race qualifications, Saturday will be the first race and Monday will be the second race.   Our plan is to meet on Friday at a local restaurant and have dinner together. Saturday we will view the first race, Sunday we will relax and kick back with the Capaldi Racing Team, and on Monday we plan to attend the second race. Even if your not a race fan, this should be a GREAT weekend!   Currently Capaldi Racing has acquired 20 race & Pit passes for the CSG. At this point in time we only have 4 left. If you are interested in attending this event, please email me as soon as possible. All Hey all!! I have returned from my trip to Lefty's house. We had a GREAT time washing cars, playing PS2, working on the site, stuffing our faces with Fritos, Mountain Dew and Corona. It was a blast!! Both of us are really looking forward to Lime Rock Park and Cougar Fest. Hopefully a lot of you will be able to make at least one of these upcoming events.
