I thought the US flag thing was cheesy, so I deleted USA from my profile... That's just me. I know how militant you Canadians can get... |

While we were on the cruise we met a nice Canadian couple from Toronto. They were seated at our table and we became quite friendly with them. As the week went on we hung out with them more and more. At the end of the trip we exchanged phone numbers and email addresses and we made plans to drive up and see them in June. Also on the boat was a former Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman. He has been retired for several years and lives in Ottawa. He is now working as an Elvis impersonator (NO JOKE) at a local restaurant (if memory serves correctly, it is called Villa Luchia). This guy actually looks like Elvis and dresses like him all the time. On Friday night the ship held a talent contest and this guy went up on stage and performed his act. He was actually pretty good. There were quite a few Canadians on board the ship. |

I guess I never put USA in my user profile. (Long time ago, not even sure the field was there) Actually what I really want is the Marine Corps flag, complete with battle ribbons. Or, just the emblem would be OK. Of course Gunnery Sergeant stipes would also look good I gotta watch that new reality show coming on Fox, "Boot Camp". Should be quite a laugh for those who did it for real back when the DI could still thump the recruit when he needed it. Skip G. |

| Villa Lucia is the restaurant and I have seen this fellow perform there. We had our company X-mas party there a couple of years ago. "Elvis" was pretty good. We also have another local restaurant - The Newport - which is home to the local Elvis sighting society. | |

Small world Whats with you guys and Elvis? |

| Cool Flags... just a test really... | |

Glad most of you like them. If you hold your cursor arrow over the flag, the country's name will pop up. KarenS Host Owner's Clubs |

| stageleft: took my Cat in for same problem with sound jumping from speaker to speaker, exact diagnoses as per multiple posts. tech fixed it in five minutes, said something to the effect that a "pin involved with the balance was causing the problem." the balance control between front/rear, left/right I assumed. anyway, it's fixed... | |
