All: Over the weekend I received an email from Leo. He mentioned that his team has made several improvements to the car over the last few months and they started track testing yesterday.   He also mentioned that Lime Rock is going to be a double header. Here is the schedule: Friday: Qualifications Saturday: Race 1 Sunday: Party Time!! Monday: Race 2   Unfortunately the SCCA has not announced the times of these events. Once they do I will post them for all to view.   I plan to stay in the Lime Rock area until Monday afternoon. If the second race is in the late morning/early afternoon, I will attend. If it runs in to the evening, I will have to cut out early as to get home at a decent hour. All attending members are welcome to stay and attend the entire second race.

All:    The Lime Rock Park Event page has been updated!! Please check it out for the latest news on this event.    The updates include:    - An invitation to the local chapters of NECO has been extended. We would like to see as many Cougars at this event as possible. Our goal is to give Capaldi Racing as much support as possible and the biggest cheering section of any team competing.    - We have been informed that Lime Rock will be a double header!! Two separate races will occur during this weekend. LIME ROCK PARK UPDATE!! All   Last night I received a message from Capaldi Racing. Leo will be able to get us a total of 20 passes to the race and to the pits. As of right now, we have a total of 20 people attending the race, so this works out well. I will be sending out an email to all registered attendees in the next few hours. I will need everyone's full name so I can pass it on to Leo. He will need the names to submit to the SCCA to acquire the passes. Please be on the look out for the email.   Thank you!

Currently the CSG is sponsoring a Cougar rally in Lakeville, Connecticut at Lime Rock Park Raceway from Friday May 25th to Monday May 28th. The purpose of this meeting is to get together and rally for the Cougar race team, Capaldi Racing.   Capaldi Racing is a member of the SCCA which will be hosting two races during this weekend. Friday will be the race qualifications, Saturday will be the first race and Monday will be the second race.   Our plan is to meet on Friday at a local restaurant and have dinner together. Saturday we will view the first race, Sunday we will relax and kick back with the Capaldi Racing Team, and on Monday we plan to attend the second race. Even if your not a race fan, this should be a GREAT weekend!   Currently Capaldi Racing has acquired 20 race & Pit passes for the CSG. At this point in time we only have 4 left. If you are interested in attending this event, please email me as soon as possible. I will be traveling down to StageLeft's mansion this Friday evening and will be staying in the guest wing until Sunday. Our current plan is to do some serious work on the web site, plan a few things for Lime Rock and Cougar Fest, and play Playstation 2 until our eyeballs fall out. If anyone is up for meeting for a drink sometime during the weekend, please let us know.

As I have informed Badulah, I regretfully am not going to be able to attend the Lime Rock event:( Sorry Camelard, I guess we won't be able to caravan.   I was just checking out Leo's racing schedule on the Capaldi racing link on the CSG website. I noticed that he is racing at Mont Tremblant on Aug. 25-26. This is a beautiful part of Quebec that I frequently go to to go skiing and golfing. I'm definitely going to try to see him race there!
