Pencil me in as tentative at this point. I want to go but I'm looking at a major project deadline in mid-July. If we run into problems (significant possibility), I'll be lucky to get weekends off during the July-August timeframe.

All: The Lime Rock Park trip is only 51 days away!!   At the request of Leo Capaldi and one of my contacts at Ford, I am going to extend an invitation to several local Cougar clubs including a few local chapters of NECO. The invitation will go out in the next few days, so if you have been considering this trip and have not already signed up and booked your accomidations, I suggest you do it before I contact these other clubs. As I have said several million times, rooms are at a premium in this area during the race season. I would hate to see CSG members left out because of a lack of accomidations.   -Rob AKA "Badulah"

All: Over the weekend I received an email from Leo. He mentioned that his team has made several improvements to the car over the last few months and they started track testing yesterday.   He also mentioned that Lime Rock is going to be a double header. Here is the schedule: Friday: Qualifications Saturday: Race 1 Sunday: Party Time!! Monday: Race 2   Unfortunately the SCCA has not announced the times of these events. Once they do I will post them for all to view.   I plan to stay in the Lime Rock area until Monday afternoon. If the second race is in the late morning/early afternoon, I will attend. If it runs in to the evening, I will have to cut out early as to get home at a decent hour. All attending members are welcome to stay and attend the entire second race.

All:    The Lime Rock Park Event page has been updated!! Please check it out for the latest news on this event.    The updates include:    - An invitation to the local chapters of NECO has been extended. We would like to see as many Cougars at this event as possible. Our goal is to give Capaldi Racing as much support as possible and the biggest cheering section of any team competing.    - We have been informed that Lime Rock will be a double header!! Two separate races will occur during this weekend. LIME ROCK PARK UPDATE!! All   Last night I received a message from Capaldi Racing. Leo will be able to get us a total of 20 passes to the race and to the pits. As of right now, we have a total of 20 people attending the race, so this works out well. I will be sending out an email to all registered attendees in the next few hours. I will need everyone's full name so I can pass it on to Leo. He will need the names to submit to the SCCA to acquire the passes. Please be on the look out for the email.   Thank you!
