#2126 of 2303 starting problems by tbcan

Dec 05, 2007 (9:10 pm)

1992 Isuzu Rodeo with 3.1 and standard transmission. Ignition module, fuel pump, and computer replaced. Engine will turn over but will not start. Voltage to the injectors but they will not pulse. Check engine light comes on when key is turned on and fades in and out. Have pulled and put back all of the relays under the hood. I have run out of ideas and I wanted to know if anyone else has run into this problem. Thanks

did you get this problem resolved? I'm having the same problem, have replaced the transmission to no avail, and would like to salvage some of my $3000 investment in the new transmission.

#2129 of 2303 Check Transmission Light Flashing - No Drive by cbeck0

Dec 12, 2007 (6:15 pm)

1995 Rodeo had Check Trans light flashing and wouldn't go into drive. Checked transmission fluid and it was empty. Put in a quart and was able to drive it. Know how many quarts is holds? Could this be a sign of a potential big money problem??

Open one line up a time then keep adding fluid. til no air comes out. Try and see if that works.

#2132 of 2303 95 isuzu rodeo stalling by xrayman

Dec 16, 2007 (4:31 am)

My isuzu rodeo wants to stall after I have driven it for awhile. I have a 5 speed manual. It is fine when I start it up and idles fine. It only does it after driving it for a long period of time. I do have a ECT sensor warning code. Could this be the problem?

I have some what the same problem, but my started when I canged the alternator know the heating and air cond. will not work and battery light, brake light stay on. The amp hand only reads the battery. I have taken it back to the auto parts store to have it checked and I even took it off of the car an had them to check it.An it showed it was charging 14.5 volts. I even check the wires from the alternator to the disconects behind the battery and i could not find any broken wires. I am still looking and if i find anything I will let you know.
