The other really nice thing is that it really and truly gives 20 mpg on highway as is advertised. Tahoe also is advertised for 20 mpg on highway but I only got 17 - 18 mpg at speed I drive. Arrie

My 2001 Tahoe LE speakers will not work. All indications are the radio is functioning just fine - just no sound. Since there appears no way to pull/test front speakers, I would like to pull rear speakers and ck ground, ets (?), but can't see how to pull them?!! Thanks |

| I have a 2000 tahoe and both fog light lenses have fallen out,and just looking at other GM vehicles with the same type of fog lights,i've noticed a lot of them also missing lenses.has anyone elce have this problem?. Is there a solution. | |
| The radio stays on when the ignition is off. I have to manually turn it off and then the clock stays on. What is causing this? This is the factory orginal radio and just started happening a few days ago. | |

| As i finished up a 75 mile trip, i came to a stop sign(slowing to a stop, of course) and once stopped, my RPM gauge started spasming from 200-800rpm. Make long story short, it has gotten worse now, even doing it when I just start it in the morning, actually died on me twice now due to it dropping so low. Runs fine when given some acceleration. Something to deal with fuel possibly? Fuel filter on frame replaced and still no luck. | |

Replying to: tsmith2233 (Nov 05, 2009 1:51 pm)  I just heard back from the auto shop i took it to (just a local guy with small shop. heard good things). Needs throttle body rebuilt. $250. I've never had to deal with that before, so i didn't have a price to go off of, but i figured it wasn't horrible considering it's still only half of a new one if not less (i think). The guy seemed nice anyway and has a chevy p/u w/ a 350 too, so i trusted him. Hope this helps someone. Btw, haven't got it back yet, but will post as the outcome of the performance.
