Hi gang, I need to replace my wife's truck in the next two months. We would like to get a 05/06 model. Have any of you purchased these model years recently, and if so, how much did you paid? Those who have already one, any problems? are you overall satisfied with the truck? I also want to get the 7 years, 100,000 powertrain warranty, is that automatically included when you buy a CPO MDX or do I need to get a separate extended warranty. Thanks a lot in advance for your responses. R p.s. Also, if you know of a good and reputable acura dealer in NJ or NYC metro area, please let me know. Thanks again |

Just bought a black on black 2005 MDX Touring with both Navigation and RES with ~ 57k miles for ~ $24100. Other than the high miles, the vehicle is in excellent condition. It was a 1-owner trade-in that I believe the dealership just wanted to get rid of before the end of 2007. Was mostly focusing on '04's due to pricing, but couldn't pass it up because it was such a great deal (trade-in via edmunds TMV in excellent condition is ~ $25k). Wanted the silver exterior with black interior, but was willing to make a concession due to the great deal. BTW, there is another one (2005 MDX touring with Nav, RES, and towing package - priced  $23,995) with ~ 64k miles located in the Milwaukee, WI area. I found it the same time I found mine via Autotrader (this one is located at a place named Car King). Colors are burgandy exterior with tan interior. Using the provided pictures as reference, looks to be in really good condition. Hello All: Found a 2005 MDX touring with nav & RES w/ 38K miles. Dealer (toyota dealer) asking $23,900. Looks and drives great, but missing the nav disc. Is there anything else I should look at before making offer? Thanks KW

Replying to: wilsongk (Mar 25, 2008 6:28 pm) 40k miles. It'll run you 600-700 dollars to replace w/ the michelins. Other than new brakes 50k miles the vehicle has been bullet proof.

Just bought a 2005 MDX and it only had one key and remote entry unit. Obviously Acura charges an arm and leg to buy and program. Does anyone have ideas on where to buy and how to program remote entry unit??? Thanks for the help.

Hi All, We're pickiing up our MDX tonight and wanted to see if there's anything in particular I should make of note of when they go over everything. It's a CPO '05 Touring with 28,5 miles No Nav or DVD. We got it for 22,9 and the 2.9% financing. This is in NJ. Some of the points I know I want to understand are 1. Code for Radio 2. Bluetooth - haven't figued out whose phone we'll set up. 3. XM Radio - Thought I saw somewhere that with the CPO you get 3 free months. Anything else I need to pay attention to? Peeter ps, I'm going to be asking more detailed questions in the near future with regard to adding reverse sensors ( I didn't care for the camera too much) and aftermarket DVD ( headrest vs overhead) so feel free to chime in with any advice. |

This is very odd and only happens once every few months and not worth my time to take it to the dealer but the steering wheel mounted radio controls on our '04 go haywire from time to time. The volume "up" button turns the volume down and vice versa. The "mode" button becomes the "channel" button and vise versa and then the next time I get in the car everythings back to normal. Has this happened to anyone else's '01-'06 MDX?  . Is my car possessed?

Hello all- I am leaning towards purchasing a used (2006-2005) MDX but also considering the Pilot. What do you think the financial incentives will be post-labor day? Any 0% for 36 month financing, or extending 0.9% for more than 36 months? And anything I should be evaluating between the pilot and mdx other than cost? Thanks |
