I thought this was a great line...
"That's true. No sense setting impossible goals..... "

Indeed, you handled that quite well.
I would've said something like "soak the part in RainX and all your problems will be solved".

After the experiences I had with Rain-X I wouldn't soak anything in it!

Works great for me.
Repells rain and I'm cancer-free!
Of course I never had cancer before, but I am cancer-free! LOL

Yeah, I know. Some people like the stuff.
I tried it two or three times and I followed directions per the label.
I might as well have smeared my windshield with vaseline. It seemed to feed on itself.
But then, some people like Armor-All too.

The one thing about Rain-X I will say is the stuff YOU put on is much better than the Rain-X they put on at the carwash. No comparison. Might as well flush the extra $2.50 they add to your carwash bill down the toilet. Just having Rain-x shower over your car as it goes through the car wash does very little and it lasts about 2 weeks.
#219 of 220 Try Water Armour instead

I have tried rain x, but I found you have to reapply it way too often. It "works" for a couple months but the quality of the effect degrades very quickly and doesn't do much after a couple weeks. I found some stuff called Water Armour (www.waterarmour.ca) and it works wonders! It does a lot more things than just bead water, too. It also protects from scratches, UV light damage to the interior, and some other stuff. It lasts for like a year, too. I would highly recommend it over rain x.

I just got some on my paint and it dissolved the clear coat and made the undercoat bubble up 5/6/2013.
