For the 2002 I would want to know (if possible) if the lower intake manifold gaskets have been replaced with newer part number (many if not all will fail rather early with the older part). Also for that year wheel bearing/hub assembly can be an issue for some. For some (more if it has spent time in hot climates) there could be problem with fuel tank (leak where the filler tube meets the fuel tank), a little look see might be wise for that. For the AWD part, more of a maintenance issue then anything else, a moan/groan from rear indicates need for either fluid fillup or change usually. Also for that year some have replaced BCM with newer part. This is not meant to scare you at all and some of these things may well have been corrected already on this particular vehicle, just some ideas. We have 2 and have been pretty pleased with both. They are pretty comfortable on a long ride, roomy, and fairly easy to go camping with.

Replying to: ray80 (Feb 19, 2009 3:49 am) Hello again......as much as i love the car, something just not sitting wif me. the man at the dealer really want me to but this car. he said two other ppl were looking at it. since i had CASH money he wanted 6 thousand for it but the other two price was $8900. that was a big jump. but i been looking and found a 2002 nissan altima right in fl...... waiting on that guy to get back wif me. if everything go as planned i will be driving that....wish me luck. and thx again

2 questions- how do you do the 30 second reset.   Recently purchased a 2003, needed a new battery within a week. 2 days later the service engine light came on. Took the car in for service, had an oil change and they reset the light. There are two service engine lights, the words above the odometer and the big light over the RPM monitor.   They reset the lights and 15 minutes later the big service engine soon light came on but not the smaller warning over the odometer.   Any ideas, they gave me a quote of $1400 worth of work, brakes....tires...none that would appear to be connected to the service engine soon light. I just did my brakes front ones with new rotors and pads for about $125.00 and spent $15.00 dollars on oil change that I did. Check your manual that came with the car. I have 2003 pontiac aztek also 2 wd. I hope this helps a little.

Hello,i have a 01 Aztek AWD,my parking break light came on while i was driving and a buzzing sound came on and didnt stop until i did.I checked my break and everything was fine.........i think.Did this happend to any one else???? Thank you.
