I used 87 octane and have no problems. The 4runner runs fine. Just curious, what generation is the 2000 model???

| I own a '99 4Runner SR5 4WD Sport Edition with the 3.4L 6 cyl. and auto trans. Does the Sport Edition model have any structural differences other than the hood scoop? I've been told the suspension is different in some way than the non-Sport Edition 4 Runners. | |
