Replying to: bbb44 (Mar 26, 2008 12:47 pm) 1) Read the Owner's Manual 2) See if you can lock it with the key. If netiher mentions/works, then I guess not. Is there a problem with locking the vehicle with the remote or power locks?

Hi, I am getting an ERR message on the screen when I try to play a CD, I have checked the owner's manual and tried what it suggested which did not help. The dealer wants $200.00 + to take it out and ship it to a repair facility. Any ideas, thanks

Replying to: ateixeira (Feb 11, 2009 8:13 am) I remember in the mid-'90s, I was shopping for a car, and told them I wasn't interested, unless they added the CD player... "Why do you want a CD player so bad?" " Because when I spin them on my finger, it doesn't sound as good." |

Hi all. Just bought the great little loaded '05 recently. Have noted '05 top of the line USA stereos come with Sat rad capability with [the same] button referenced above reading: "CD/SAT". HOWEVER, though I've read some old blogs on this, does anyone out there know if the Canadian unit can [somehow] make use of the "CD/Aux" button via routing an Aux input into the unit? Again I've read you may have to remove the unit to look at the back to see if there is an open 14 pin connector "join", but short of my having to do that first, does any fellow Canadian EX-L owner have first hand experience on this Aux input subject to pass along? Have seen some aftermarket "Y" fittings which would seem to permit installation of an Aux sourced plug in, (for my sat rad, or..), but seems even this is dependent upon the available plug ins, (or absence of same), on the back of the Cdn. unit. (In '06 Honda made its "I Link" system available, I've noted). Any DEFINITIVE help available out there re: this '05 model year question? Don't want to go the RF transmitter route, but might be forced to use the tape adapter setup for my sat rad. I guess, unless........?
