I just stumbled upon this forum and will continue to search it for some answers but thought I would try a new post, looks like there isn't much activity on this forum anymore but maybe someone can help. We bought a 2006 Rendezvous CXL AWD a couple months ago. We love the vehicle overall but have had a couple problems fixed under warranty. Currenty we are trying to get the dealer to figure out what is causing a noise when turning. They already replaced the power steering pump but that did not fix it. The problem is at slow speed turning, such as turning in parking lots, there is a very noticeable moaning noise, happens turning right or left, the harder you turn the louder it is. At first the dealer tried to say they all do that and it has to do with the AWD system and how the wheels turn at different speeds when cornering. While I have certainly heard AWD, 4 X 4, trac control vehicles make some noise I have never heard anything this loud or constant. After going for a ride with me today the mechanic said he agreed that it should not make such a loud and noticeable noise and so I have another appointment schedule for later this week but I dont expect any results unless I find some info on my own to feed to them. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also any other known common problems I should be on the look out for while its still under warranty. My '03 RDV makes a noise when turning either direction on a slow speed turn when braking. It sounds & feels like the anti-lock brake engaging. When it happens the anti-lock brake warning light comes on and all wheel drive disable light comes on. It is not leaking brake fluid that I can see and the brake are working. Any ideas as to the cause of this problem?

Can anyone help? 2003 Rendezvous will not start when you turn the key. Mechanic replaced the computer and ignition but neither solved the problem. He did however tell me if you put a paperclip in fuse #58 and turn the ignition in the on position it starts right up. Sure enough it does but..... I hardly call that fixed! We hooked it up to another computer and it reads that it is in 3rd gear no matter what gear it is in. Any ideas? Thanks
