I wonder if there is some film which blocks UV but still nearly transparent? I am in CA where I don't think front window tint is allowed (most states don't allow). One time I was driving a rental car going south to San Diego in summer. After a few hours, my left arm got some sunburn... |

When my Qx4 comes to a red light and idling, I tried shifting it to "N" then back to "D", I feel a slight "push". When I shift the second time to "N" and ack to "D", I feel much less of that. It is the same whether at 2WD or Auto. Did same test on RX300 and it has much less "push" even the first time shift. |

Replying to: bigo1201 (Jan 22, 2007 5:10 pm) It is emanting from the area where the right-rear seat BACK pivots and contacts metal underneath the carpet. Go back there, remove the headrest and put aside (when I say right-rear I am referring to right as viewed from back of vehicle). OK....pull up on the tab that pulls forward the bottom (butt) cushion, and pull until the cushion is vertical. Now the culprit as I said is the seat back/contact zone. Pull the lever, and move the seatback forward a couple of inches, then push it back to the lock. This, or similar/perhaps faster repetition should reproduce your sound. The sound is more like a clicking sound... I placed a piece of cardboard under the area where it's occurring. This is tough to describe, so if you need additional info feel free to email me at radioclashman at aol.com Good luck!!!!! |

| I wonder if anyone has replaced the turn signal bulbs with the LED bulbs, and how they work regarding brightness and flashing rate. | |

Can't find a good place to ask this geberal question: Is it OK to clean the vinyl surface with leather cleaner and conditioner? I guess it's OK but maybe not the best way. |

"My pathfinder was driving fine then started making a clunking noise then it stalled. I brought it to the dealer to be told that 2 screws in the intake manifold back themselves out and got sucked into the engine and completly destroyed it. Nissan is saying it is my problem because i am outside the warranty. But this is a huge manufacturing defect that Nissan knows about and won't recognize. They want $9,000 to put in a new motor or $5,000 for a used one that has more miles then the one I had. The car is only worth a bit more then the repair costs..." The above is from NICO.com, and they say this failure happened on quite a few VQ35 engines. I haven't heard it from anywhere else but NICO. |
