I don't understand - you, Quad and Oby have posted thousands of posts to Tundra topics (more than all of the Tundra owners posts combined) for the last couple of years. Now you are outraged that one Tundra owner is posting here? I don't get it!
I am not posting about how great my Tundra is. I am not posting about Tundras at all. What is the deal?

After reading alot of information from various sorces I decided to remove my K&N drop-in filter which I've been using for the past year or so. Mainly the concerns were that it allows too much dirt into the engine. I just replaced it with the heavy duty filter that comes with the Z71 package. I'll be keeping the K&N in case I decide to use it later.
I can't notice any difference in acceleration and there is less engine noise. Guess I'm weird since I like my truck quiet! The extra mileage from the K&N was almost nil. This weekend I'm goint to do some towing so I'll be anxious to see if I can notice any difference there.

Speaking of towing-how much experience do you have towing with your Tundra? You seemed speak pretty authoritatively on this subject in other threads and I'd like to hear what you've pulled with your Tundra and your own personal experiences. Mileage, going up hills, etc??

Hillhound keeps wanting to change the topic. Remember - this topic is Chevy Silveradoa.
What does the Tundra towing capability have to do with this topic?
I know that the knocking Chevies (that GM refuses to repair) is a painful topic, but can we stick to the topic? Thanks.

You KNOW the only thing bama has pulled is his xxxx(and ours)

We are not talking about Tundras. We are talking about knocking GM engines!
#6758 of 6769 Bama...since you insist on talking about Chevys only:

Tell us how much practical experience you personally have with Chevy pickups. I'm curious as to why you not only seem to categorically hate GM products in general but also the people who own them. C'mon-tell us.
Sorry but I can't talk about knocking engines since mine does not knock. Nor does the engines of three other 99+ GM 1500s and one 2500 6.0L owned by friends/family. When mine knocks I'll let you know Bama. The only knocking I do hear are Tundra owning neighbors at my door who like to borrow my Chevy when they need a fullsize pickup to use.

It sounds just like my sons pre-school class in here.
